Elfen Lied

I came across this gorgeous music today, and I just have to share it with you all. Somehow it reminds me of the recent suffering and devastation in Japan. Hope we could all remember them in our prayers, especially for those who had lost their families in this tragedy. The music is sung in Latin, but will repeat one more time with English translation.

Necklace 002Level of difficulty: ♥♥

This is a necklace I made using pearl knotting technique. Below are the tools and supplies that you will need for this necklace.



Tools:
scissors

Materials:
1 clasp
silk thread
crystal or semi-precious stone briolettes
oval-shaped pearls
small round pearls
2 metal embellishment beads
2 bead tips

Directions:
1. Arrange all the briolettes and pearls to your desired pattern.
2. You can use bead-tip to attach one end of the thread to the clasp before you start stringing the pearls.
3. Using the Pearl knotting technique, tie knots between all the pearls, but not between the briolettes.
4. Add metel embellishment beads on both side of the briolette segment.
